Unique Olympic, World and European 200 m. Champion


Constantinos Kenteris was born in June 11th, 1973 in Mytilene, Greece. He is 1, 80 m. tall and weighs 78 kgs. An original running talent with big potential whose evolution delayd due to series of injuries. In 2000 he moved from Thessaloniki to Athens, joint Kostas Tzekos' athletics team and focused on 200 m. instead of 400 m. he had run till then. The first man of Greece who got an Olympic Gold after the Olympics 1896. The first European who matched the Olympic, the World and the European titles. In Munich 2002 European Championships, won in 19" 85. the second all time European performer, but the faster at the sea level.
