Niki XANTHOU
Niki Xanthou was born
on the 11th of October of 1973 in Rhodes. Her height is 1, 74 m. and her
weight is 56 kgs. She is training with Dimitris Chatzopoulos, the former
long jump national champion, and belongs to G.A.S. "Hygeia" of Rhodes.
She was the 1997 silver medalist in women's long jump at the World Championships
of Athens, and was voted as the best 1997 woman long jumper by the
Track & Field News magazine. She was also 4th at the Atlanta Olympics.
Her personal bests are also the National records for Greece: 7, 03 m. (Outdoors)
and
6, 91 m. (Indoors)
