22: 40 p.m. Francis Obikwelu won 200 m. in 20" 13 (unofficial). Feofanova, Belyakova, Bartova and Balakhonova failed to break European Record at 4, 56. Feofanova won at 4, 50 m.

22: 30 p.m. Kevin Little won second 200 m. heat in 20" 85 (unofficial)

22:25 p.m. Daniel Komen won 3.000 m. in 7' 31" 99.

22:15 p.m. Noah Ngeni won 1.000 m. in 2' 15" 56. Lebedeva won with 14, 78 at sixth attempt.

22: 00 p.m. Benhasi won 800 m. in an unofficial 1' 59" 28.

21: 50 p.m. Feofanova, Belyakova and Bartova cleared 4, 50 m. Balakhonova left it. Three failures for Emma George at 4, 50 m. (4, 40 m. last succesfull attempt)

21: 40 p.m. Natalya Nazarova won in 51" 61 the 400 m. race - 2nd heat (unofficial time)

21: 30 p.m. Parella won 400 m. in 44" 56.(unofficial) followed by Cardenas and Pettigrew. Pradzheva at 14, 76 m. Balakhonova cleared 4,45 m.

21: 25 p.m. Olena Govorova jumps 14, 60 m. leading triple jump

21: 20 p.m.  Stelios Dimotsios in 46" 28 won 400 m. second heat

21: 10 p.m.  Costas Gatsioudis at 88, 46 m. (1st attemp)

21: 05. p.m. Saddler won the 100 m. stars race in 10" 08. beating Bolton (10"11), Greene, Montgomery.

21:00 p.m. 100 m. STARS FINAL: Obikwelu out with 2 fault starts. One more for Pavlakakis

20: 40 p.m. Katerina Thanou won 1st heat in 11" 00 beating Miller and Devers.

20: 30 p.m. Gaines won 2nd heat of 100 m. in 10" 97 (official time)

20: 25 p.m. Arauzo of Brazil won 400 m. h. in 48" 25, second performance in 2000.

20: 15.p.m. Jiri Muzik of Czech won 1st heat of 400 m. hurdles in 49"08. John Godina at 20, 82 m., the best throw so far. Guset at 20, 41 m.

20: 00 p.m. Anier Garcia won 110 m. h. in a wind aided 13"06

19: 55 p.m. Mirela Tzelili threw 64, 51 m. at her last attempt.

19: 45 p.m. Kohutec of Poland won 1st heat of high hurdles
